Tires are important but what about the air that goes into it?

So after putting new Summer tires on my stock rims this past Sunday, I noticed that the ones I mounted on the front were a little lower than the ones in the rear. Instead of jacking the car up again and rotating the rears to the front I decided to drive to a nearby gas station and just fill up the ones in the front. I drove to to 4 gas stations. All with either no air pump or with and air pump but no hose! Even the one gas station that i knew where you had to pay for air had an out of order sign on the pump. Well this has made me decide to get an air compressor/inflater that i can plug into the cigarette lighter of my car. These things vary from $20 to about $90 but are they all the same? I figure as long as the price isnt over $60 then it'll be worth it since i can use it at the race track too if needed.

On another note. Falken 615s > Winter tires! Thatisall.
